The NW Insurance Council is a nonprofit, public education and media
relations trade association funded by member insurance companies
and other insurance organizations.
Mission
Our mission is to help consumers, voters and jurors understand
the value of insurance through media relations, community service
and public speaking.
Key Initiatives
Our six key initiatives are: Media Relations, Consumer/Public
Relations, Community Development, Education & Issues, Insurance
Crimes Prevention and Industry Relations.
Membership
Membership is available on a one-year renewable
basis.
Full Membership
is available to insurance companies that write business in the
Northwest. Benefits include the following:

One seat on the Board of Trustees and a
vote at any meeting of the Board of Trustees

Attendance at any and all meetings of the
Board of Trustees

Direct input regarding NW Insurance Council
activities on behalf of the insurance industry

Ongoing updates on insurance activities
and issues

Access to insurance information and statistics
upon request

Membership on one or more of NW Insurance
Council's committees
Dues are scaled based on annual premium volume
minus dividends in the Northwest states.
Associate Membership
is available to other insurance organizations. Benefits include
the following:
- Ongoing updates on insurance activities and issues
- Opportunities to partner on key industry issues and messages
- Media referrals on key issues
Dues are $250 per year.
